Children’s Neurology Services:United Hospital

The Paediatric Neurology service provide management of  acute and chronic Neurological and developmental disorders in children.

  •  Primarily the service is provided by – Paediatric Neurologist,
  •  In developmental disorder coordinated service by paediatric neurologist  along with - Developmental Therapist is given to improve the quality of  life of children.

The services under Child Neurology include:

  1. Neurological disorders:
  •  Epilepsy in Children
  •  Neonatal convulsion
  •  Cerebral palsy
  •  Stroke in children
  • Disease of peripheral nerve
  • Congenital  infection(TORCH)
  • Neuromascular disorder
  • Neurometabolic disorder
  • Neurodegenerative disorder
  • Neurocutaneous disorder·
  • CNS infection
  • Congenital defect in brain and spinal cord
  • Headache in children
  • Movement disorders in children
  • Down’s syndrome and other Genetic disorder

2.    Developmentaldisorders:

  • Autism spectrum disorder
