United Hospital organized a community engagement initiative, COPD patient education session
To commemorate World COPD Day 2016, United Hospital organized a community engagement initiative, COPD patient education session on 17 November Thursday 2016 to add value to the treatment & management given to our patients.
The session supervised by Respiratory Medicine & Chest Diseases Department of United Hospital discussed educational tips about Coping & Living Well with COPD and practical demonstration of relevant breathing exercises by Clinical Physiotherapist. An assessment questionnaire was given to patients in the audience to assess their current score, basic patient counseling was done by doctors of Respiratory Medicine Department after the session. Participants in the session were invited UHL patients who are suffering from different severity of COPD, along with some corporate house patients.
