United Hospital Observed International Nurses Day & Midwives Day -2019
United Hospital observed International Nurses Day & Midwives Day on 5th May Sunday to encourage the nursing profession to maintain the spirit of serving humanity.
Like every year, also United Hospital Observed International Nurses Day this year in befitting manner by conducting Free Health Check-up in a health check booth at hospital lobby. More than 500 patients and their family member’s availed free check up throughout the day. Among the various programs there was a morning rally followed by cake cutting by the nurses, doctors and higher management of the United Hospital. Dr. Shagufa Anwar, Chief Communication & Business Development of United Hospital graced the occasion and congratulated the nurses on this joyous occasion and also gave an encouraging speech where she motivated the nurses to do better work with more dedication in the future.
It needs to be mentioned here, to commemorate the birthday of Florence Nightingale, International Nurses Day is observed on throughout the world. The theme of this year is “Nurses: A voice to lead-Health for All”.
