  • Professor Dr. Suraiya Begum completed MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1983. Thereafter, she obtained DCH from IPGMR (BSMMU) in 1997 and obtained FCPS from BCPS, Dhaka in 2005
  • She received training on Pediatric Endocrinology from India in 2015
  • Her work experience includes serving in many renowned institutions in Dhaka including BIRDEM and Ibrahim Medical College, Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College, Z.H. Sikdar Women`s Medical College and Shahabuddin Medical College
  • Professor Suraiya has numerous guided and co-guided researches, theses and publications
  • At present she is serving as Professor, Department of Pediatrics and Head of the unit, Pediatric Endocrinology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University
