★ Obtained MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College under Dhaka University in 2003.

★ Completed his Master in Cardiothoracic Surgery, MS (CTS), degree from National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute (NHFH&RI) under Dhaka University in 2014.

★ Worked at National Heart Foundation Hospital, Mirpur, Dhaka in the Cardiac Surgery department as Surgical Resident from 2005 to 2014.

★ After completing his post-graduation he served as Junior Consultant in the department of Cardiac Surgery in Chattagram Metropolitan Hospital, Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College  Hospital and Bangladesh Specialized Hospital from 2014 to 2018.

★ Joined United Hospital in 2018 and at present serving as an Associate Consultant in the department of Cardiac Surgery. 

★ In the United Hospital Cardiac Surgery department, he is actively and successfully participating to his full capacity in Beating Heart Bypass Graft Surgery (CABG), Aortic surgeries,  Aortic and Mitral valve surgeries, Congenital heart surgeries like ASD, VSD & PDA repair surgeries on a regular basis. 

★ He was actively involved in the very First LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device viz. HeartMate 3) implant surgery in Bangladesh that took place at United Hospital Ltd. in March 2022.

★ He was also actively involved in the first successful VA ECMO (Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) placement and wean in a patient at United Hospital Ltd.

★ He was selected for an overseas Travelling Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery by the PHA (Planetary Health Academia) in 2022 and successfully completed 2 months fellowship training at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK.

★ He is very much interested in MICS (Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery), Aortic Surgery, Heart transplant and various short and long term Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) devices ie. ECMO, LVAD etc. implant surgeries.
