He passed MBBS in 1997 from M.A.G Osmani Medical College, Sylhet. He did his MSC in Cardiology from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK in 2011. He completed his D-Card from National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (NICVD), Dhaka in 2002. He also had training in Non-invasive Cardiology from Escort Heart Institute, India. He worked in Square Hospital as Specialist from 2007 to 2010. Thereafter he joined in United Hospital as a Junior Consultant in Cardiology Department from 2012 till now.
