Our cardiologists provide 24 hour dedicated service and is the only hospital of Bangladesh where emergency angioplasty can be carried out round the clock. It is being operated by a strong and dedicated team of cardiologists which includes Dr. NAM Momenuzzaman, Dr. Kaiser Nasrullah Khan and Dr. Fatema Begum. This team also comprises of 1 associate consultant and 7 specialists in cardiology.

The cardiology division of United Cardiac Center has got modern electro medical equipments and appliances which includes 2 catheterization laboratories and 22 critical care beds to carry out every necessary procedures related to diagnostic & interventional cardiology. The procedures done by the cardiology team include:

Cardiac Surgery

United Cardiac Center comprises a cardiac team of 13 Cardiac Surgeons headed by Chief Consultant Dr. Jahangir Kabir. He is being assisted by 03 junior consultants and other 08 specialists in Cardiac Surgery. The Cardiac Operation Theatres are being supported by a team of 07 cardiac anesthesiologists headed by a consultant Dr. Md. Shahid Ahmed Chowdhury. . The Cardiac Surgery division of United Cardiac Center has got 19 cardiac ICU beds with another 12 step down ICU beds.
